A Candidate with an Attitude

Greetings, Fellow Alaskans- My name is Huhnkie Lee and I’m running for 2022 US Senate as an independent Alaskan. I’m a dark horse candidate, meaning, that I’m virtually unknown. So, please allow me to make a general criticism about mainstream politicians or major-party-backed candidates. Those politicians tend to have golden resumes filled with top-school credentials and high-ranking positions in big corporations or big governmental agencies. There is nothing wrong with pursuing such high-profile careers. But, as a political candidate, is such elitism a good thing? Let’s think about this. Who gets into top schools and get high-paying jobs and get promoted to high offices? Probably the people with diligence and obedience. Again, those are not bad qualities in general. But, one possibility is that, if such an elitist becomes a politician, s/he may obey the sponsoring political party, too much. A 100% obedience to a political party platform may not represent the best interest of a state or a nation. Such obedient candidate may get star-studded endorsement from big unions and big celebrities, and may as well win an election. But what happens after that? This elitist politician who does all the home works and who does everything that s/his party asks s/him to do, the elitist politician will not be able to make a change in the state or the nation. Such politician will neither make a difference, nor be remembered in history. I’m not obedient. I’m a politician with an attitude. I’m pro-Pebble.
