Optimism for Afghanistan

Greetings Friends- This is Huhnkie Lee, running for 2022 US Senate as an independent Alaskan. As a E4/Specialist junior enlisted soldier, I deployed to Afghanistan in 2011-2012.  We interacted with local Afghanistanis and I learned that they're smart, strong, and honorable people. I'm optimistic about Afghanistan.  I don't think Taliban is as bad as some people are worried about.  My impression is that Taliban has evolved over that past two decades, very much.  I think Taliban has been civilized, even "westernized".  Talibans seem to be very smart people: after all, they outfoxed Soviets and outwitted four US presidents and all their smartest people in DC. Taliban in 1990s were extreme.  They banned movies, music, especially anything foreign or "western".  After three decades, Taliban has changed.  Taliban has a Twitter account, PR personnel and even spokespersons.  Talibans learn fast and adapt quickly.  That's why they won the war surprisingly fast. Americans say light is the most effective disinfectant.  Taliban knows the world is watching Afghanistan.  Such international visibility is likely to make Taliban conscious of what they do. Some people are angry or afraid.  Don't let emotions cloud your judgement.  I'm optimistic about Afghanistan.  Afghanistan has bright future!  Thank you //:-)

Peace on Earth Essay

Hi Sirs and Ma'ams, A law school and army story, if I may- ... About seven years ago When I was in law school There once was this event Where Practicing attorneys were invited to our campus And told their experiences As practicing attorneys in the state ... One gentleman in his sixties told us "Some of my clients tell us "They're so tired and just want to get it done and over with." ... I guess it goes the same sometimes to the other party's clients too ... Litigation stress As attorneys Or attorneys' family members We all know ... I was in US army once I was single But my buddies were married ... When we deployed to Afghanistan Year 2011 I had no problem Or qualm I was ready To give up my life and limbs For our country ... But My army buddies It was a different story for them They got spouses and kids left behind ... So when we deployed to Afghanistan We were ready And well trained and prepared And we were lucky We all came back home Safe and sound With a few exceptions We did indeed suffer from some incidents and we are very sorry- ... But most of us came back safely In 2012 Back to fort hood texas It was a beautiful day in May, I think ... I just want you to know One of the reasons why I'm pro-peace Pro-settlement ... We have struggles and incidents In our respective lives Life is a war, a battle ... Everyday When we go out there on the road There are some rogue drivers Some of them are career outlaws Some of them are under influences Some of them are angry at people At the world At politics perhaps So sometimes They drive too fast They tailgate They run red light And get into accidents . .. Life is a war We risk our lives and limbs Whenever we go out there ... But There are good things in life too ... If you have a family How nice it is To have people around you Who would be beside you no matter what No matter when No matter where Your family is Your most fervent advocate Your most first defense Your bestest attorneys ... But Some of us Perhaps Are less endowed Perhaps some of us Are alone Though we may have good friends ... So what I do As an attorney Is to put myself In somebody else's shoes And try to understand Their circumstances And their situations ... Life is full of conflicts already That's why I do my very best To be And to play A peacemaker To make peace To make everyone happy .. It's because There are more than enough sufferings already ... Ladies and gentlemen If we don't try to make happiness in the world Who would? ... Peace on earth please- //:-)

A Letter to Senators- Iliamna-Matsu Hwy

Greetings incumbent Senators of Alaska, Congratulations on bipartisan passage of 1 trillion dollar infrastructure bill in US Senate, Sir and Ma’am- If the bill passes in the House, I have a suggestion for you. Thank you for informing us in your websites that 3.5 billion dollars of the infrastructure money will come to Alaska for highway construction and repair. I’ve learned that it takes about 2 million dollars to build a mile of two-lane asphalt road. I propose to you that we build a 2-lane highway between Iliamna Lake and Matsu Valley, which will be about 250 miles long, costing about 500 million dollars. As you know, Iliamna Lake is the largest lake in Alaska and third largest lake in America. Iliamna lake also houses the rare fresh water seals. Close to Iliamna Lake, there are Katmai National Park, Kodiak Island, and Augustine Island that has an active volcano. Also, great salmon fishing place of Bristol Bay and Aleutian Island Chain are near there too. Aleutian Chain has great potential for tourism, trans-Pacific trade route, and shipping industry for trade cargo ships to goods between Asia/Russia and Alaska/Canada/America. I understand you are against Pebble Mine development for now, and I just to mention that I’m pro-Pebble. Also, I’m running for 2022 US Senate as an Independent Alaskan, so I will be competing with one of you next year //!-) Thank you for all you do and God bless you and your family and your colleauges, Sir and Ma’am- --Huhnkie Lee, a citizen of Wasilla, Alaska

A nice reminiscence

hello ladies and gentlemen- about three decades ago i was in seoul south korea with my dad ... we went to this ski resort outskirts of seoul back in early 1990s the name of the resort was "bears' town" ... i was a teenager back then and in the resort when my dad and i was riding this motorized 'lift' looking down the beautiful winter scenery a ski resort and they got this musical boom box in the ski resort big speakers and the music they played was this music ... i did not understand english back then as i still was a high school student memorizing english vocabulary as i was riding bus back and from school reading korean-english dictionary from a to z i did indeed ... so when i was alone with my dad on the ski resort lift i asked him "Dad, what does this english lyric mean?" ... my dad's reaction he was a bit bothered cuz he got his economics phd in america back in 1970s he knew english he heard of this song so his teenage son asking what this romantic love song lyrics means he hesitated to answer the question ... but out of pure parental love he did answer my question ... "son, "it means "i just called to say "i love you." ...

A Bedtime Story

Hello Friends- Some nice story to share //:-) ... When I was a child back in seoul south korea My parents would tell us ( somewhat fictionalized of course //!-) ) "You know kids, "You are the future generation "One day "We'll pass the baton and the torch to ya "When y'all grow up "And turn our age ... "Kids, "Back when we were your age "We used to call our parents " 'the old generation' "We called ourselves " 'the new generation' "I guess it's now our turn to hear that "From you ... "Kids, "When we say to you " 'you don't know what you're doing " 'you don't know what you're talking about "You may think and say " 'well- time is different now " 'time has changed " 'old methodologies and thought processes " 'they are outdated. Doesn't work like that anymore. Sorry-' ... "Kids, "You have to understand "Yes, we know "Times have changed "Like we witnessed "From our parental "Even from our grandparental generations "We know ... "Kids, "What want to tell you "Is that "There are some things "That never change ... "You may ask " 'Mommy, Daddy- " 'what are those things that never ever change? A disney land?' ... "No, kids- ... " 'then what is it?' " ... "It is love. "No matter how many eons and eras may come and pass by in the universe "Parents will always always love their children- " ... " 'oh- " ' okay, Dad and Mom. " ' we're sleepy now. We're going to bed. Good night! ' " ... //:-)

A Jokester and a Politician

Greetings Fellow Alaskans- This is Huhnkie Lee, running for 2022 US Senate as an independent Alaskan. Some say I'm a hobby candidate and my campaign is a joke. Is that true? Yes. //xD But, look at our dear former President. Isn't it a joke that he still insists the he won the 2020 election? How about the aging incumbent President? Are we serious? ... AOC, MTG, Ilhan-Omar, all those mental case people get into Congress, when they should go to psychiatric institutions instead. How about incumbent senate LM? She is just happy to be so important a person. She made zero differences, zero changes for Alaska in her two decades of whatever. How about Republican Party's favorite senatorial candidate? She is so happy about the disgraced former President's endorsement and that's how clueless a person she is, in my humble opinion. Again, what a joke. I mean, people tell me, I'm a joke. And I say, why yes, I am. I'm a jokester. I got performer background. Indeed, back in the days, I made a movie, you see (available in youtube for free): https://m.imdb.com/title/tt1747913/ And also, I'm pro-Pebble and I wrote a 40-page paper about it: https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3890437 So, the bottom line is, I'm an entertainer. A stand-up comedian. When people laugh at me, I'm happy. Knowing that I did my job well. My turn to ask you a question. Do you want to be happy? Do you want to laugh and smile and cheer? Then vote for me next year. Happiness, guaranteed. Thank you //:-D

Controversy and Politics

Greetings Fellow Alaskans- This is Huhnkie Lee, running for 2022 US Senate as an independent Alaskan. Unlike other candidates, I don't play safe, and I don't shy away from controversy. Rather, I tend to pick a subject matter that would catapult me into a quagmire of controversies. I've been in Alaska for six years and I guess I've become a sourdough already //xD So. Let's talk about our dear Supreme Leader, not of North Korea, but of North America. Yes, I'm talking about one Mr. Former President T. Mr. T was born with silver spoon in his mouth. He is not a self-made man. He may have worked hard and I bet he did. After all is said and done, I did read his autobiographical books, watched his reality tv shows, listened to his campaign speeches. And yes, I did indeed vote for him in 2016 November. He did good with North Korea and Russia. And at least he started building the southern border wall, though he failed to complete it. He also failed to build ANWAR OIL and Pebble Mine. He failed in Covid and BLM. Of course he failed to get reelected. He is one spectacular failure after failure and he is still insisting and misleading some Americans. What a tragedy. And some clueless Alaskan senatorial Candidate boasts about Mr. T's endorsement. A zany bunch. Do you wanna see something crazier? An even more insane candidate from Alaska? Here: https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3890437 I'm pro-Pebble. Thank you //!-)

A Candidate with an Attitude

Greetings, Fellow Alaskans- My name is Huhnkie Lee and I’m running for 2022 US Senate as an independent Alaskan. I’m a dark horse candidate, meaning, that I’m virtually unknown. So, please allow me to make a general criticism about mainstream politicians or major-party-backed candidates. Those politicians tend to have golden resumes filled with top-school credentials and high-ranking positions in big corporations or big governmental agencies. There is nothing wrong with pursuing such high-profile careers. But, as a political candidate, is such elitism a good thing? Let’s think about this. Who gets into top schools and get high-paying jobs and get promoted to high offices? Probably the people with diligence and obedience. Again, those are not bad qualities in general. But, one possibility is that, if such an elitist becomes a politician, s/he may obey the sponsoring political party, too much. A 100% obedience to a political party platform may not represent the best interest of a state or a nation. Such obedient candidate may get star-studded endorsement from big unions and big celebrities, and may as well win an election. But what happens after that? This elitist politician who does all the home works and who does everything that s/his party asks s/him to do, the elitist politician will not be able to make a change in the state or the nation. Such politician will neither make a difference, nor be remembered in history. I’m not obedient. I’m a politician with an attitude. I’m pro-Pebble. For more: https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3890437 Thank You!

A Dark Horse Candidate

Greetings, Fellow Alaskans- My name is Huhnkie Lee and I’m running for 2022 US Senate as an independent Alaskan. I’m a dark horse candidate like some others in this senatorial race. And I ask you, our dear Alaskans, to give us a fighting chance. The two mainstream candidates: the incumbent one and the Republican-Party-backed challenger one. I ask Alaskans to be true to Alaskan independence value and stay away from those Manchurian candidates, some programmed robots, the party puppets, the obeyer of their big campaign donors. This very day, I challenge you, Alaskans, to try something very new, and very different. I want you, Alaskans, to be a shining example for all Americans. Let us be the all-American people of the land of the free, home of the brave. I oppose the sheep-people mentality. I don’t think that’s Alaskan. I don’t think that’s American either. Come on, Alaskans. Will you vote for those institutionalized two majoritarian candidates, for what? Just because you saw them on TV? I object. I think we can do better than that. … About five years ago, I drove down to Seward and walked on the sandy seashore. There was this bull kelps washed up on the shore and I picked them up and brought with me. I washed them and cooked them and they tasted so good. We, so-called fringe candidates, we’re like you. We’re humble people. We speak our minds. Here, I speak my mind. Yes, I’m pro-Pebble. For more, see: https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3890437 Thank You!

Tax, PFD, and Inflation

Greetings, Fellow Alaskans- My name is Huhnkie Lee and I’m running for 2022 US Senate as an independent Alaskan. Alaska is one of seven states with no state income tax, like NV, FL, TX, SD, WA, WY. Alaska is the only state where every resident gets a dividend every year. But, there are concerns that Alaska may one day lose PFD, and then one another day, Alaskans would have to pay state income tax, like most states. We, as Alaskans, don’t want either to happen. The problem is this. Inflation is like a law of nature, like gravitation. For instance, $1 a hundred years ago is equivalent to $15 today. The reason for inflation probably is that the federal government print out more money than necessary every year, in order to pay its debt or to hand out free money to people as assistance. And Inflation causes for price to go up. The cost of running a state government’s business will go up too. That explains why some are concerned that PFD may continue to decrease and eventually go away, and there will be new state income tax, which will continue to increase annually. This may happen if Alaska’s total economic activities stay the same, that is, if Alaska’s economy does not grow but stays the same. This is why I support Pebble Mine and ANWR Oil. Making more money is the only way to keep PFD and to prevent state income tax in Alaska. For more: https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3890437 Thank You!

A Gender Study

Greetings, Fellow Alaskans- My name is Huhnkie Lee and I’m running for 2022 US Senate as an independent Alaskan. Unlike mainstream candidates that we see on TV, who would shy away from controversial topics, I’m a risk taker and I don’t play it safe. So let’s talk about transgender athletes. Say, Adam was born a man, who has 30 trillion cells in his body. Every single cell in his body has the exact same set of genes, i.e., the genome, in the cell’s nucleus. Adam’s every cell has an X chromosome and Y chromosome. A woman’s every cell has an X chromosome and another X chromosome. That is the biological definition of a man and a woman. One day, Adam ‘realized’ that Adam is a woman trapped inside a man’s body. Adam now identifies herself as a woman but people see Adam as a man because Adam has a man’s body. So Adam feels gender dysphoria and goes to a hospital. Adam had her male reproductive organ surgically removed, a pair of silicon blobs implanted on her chest, and her male-sounding vocal cords modified. Adam then goes to governmental buildings to change her birth certificate’s gender, and changes her name to Alice. Alice also grows her hair long, puts on makeups, wears skirts and high-heel shoes and moves out of state to live a new life as a woman. In a new neighborhood, people regards Alice as a woman and Alice feels gender euphoria. Alice wants more. Alice can do non-competitive sports like going to gyms or hiking. But Alice wants to compete in women’s weight lifting championship. Alice’s mentality is female, Alice’s appearance is female, but Alice’s body is still male, because no one can replace 30 trillion Y chromosomes with 30 trillion X chromosomes in 30 trillion cells in Alice’s body. So Alice easily wins the weight lifting championship, as Alice has more muscle in her masculine body than other cis-gender female athletes. Competitive sports are physical activities. Alice may identify herself as a female in her mentality, but her physical body is still male. And there is a definite distinction between mental activity, like identifying oneself as a female, and physical activity, like weight lifting. Alice is confused, and so are the rest of the world. Now, let’s switch topic. I’m pro-Pebble. To see more, please feel free to read my paper: https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3890437 Thank You very much!

A Fringe Candidacy, a Mosquito Campaign

Greetings, Fellow Alaskans- My name is Huhnkie Lee and I’m running for 2022 US Senate as an independent Alaskan. I’m an obscure fringe candidate, so my campaign can be regarded as parasitic. A tiny mosquito sucks a small modicum of blood from a big mama moose. If I criticize two gigantic, Behemothan, Leviathan candidates, would you call my campaign, a mosquito campaign? Sounds fun //xD So, let’s talk about the incumbent Senator. They say she got seniority in the US Senate, she got this chairwoman-ship of big committees, she got this power and that influence. I’m like, so what. She hasn’t made any differences for two decades. She may have all the power in DC, but she failed to do ANWR Oil, and she refuses to do Pebble Mine. Tourism or commercial fishing? There isn’t that much money there. Pebble is $500,000,000 worth and so is ANWR. Combined, Alaska bags 1 trillion dollars. The incumbent Senator is a soft-core, ineffective politician. She’s just happy being so important a person who gets all the media attention. She’s not contributing anything to Alaska. How about the other mainstream candidate, who is Republican Party’s favorite and who got a ‘yuuge’ endorsement from a chagrinned former US President? She’s got a golden resume, with top school credentials, high federal governmental positions. But she seems to be a bird in a gilded cage. She is so obedient to Republican Party ideologies. She’s new to politics but there is nothing new about her. She’s nothing but a copy-and-paste of the laundry list of Republican Party agenda. How about me? I’m pro-Pebble. For more, please feel free to read my 40-page paper about it: https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3890437 Thank You!

Sinatra, Oil, and Energy

Greetings, Fellow Alaskans- My name is Huhnkie Lee and I’m running for 2022 US Senate as an independent Alaskan. These days, Democrats believe that the green, renewable solar and wind power will soon 100% replace fossil fuel and even some Republicans start to believe it. Well, let’s ask Mr. Frank Sinatra about this: “Oil and energy, oil and energy, Go together like a horse and carriage. This I tell ya, brother, you can't have one without the other. It's an institute you can't disparage. Ask the local gentry and they will say it's elementary. Try, try, try to separate them, it's an illusion. Try, try, try and you only come to this conclusion.” That pretty much sums it up for me. Solar and wind power generates only electricity. They talk about electric cars but they take too long to charge. Will they one day invent electric passenger airplane, electric rocket to send satellites off the earth? Not likely. Why? It is a physical impossibility to have a battery that can store that huge amount of electric energy. The law of physics says no. A battery can store only small amount of electric energy, because it takes too much energy itself to separate positively charged ions and negatively charged ions in isolation, which is how battery works. Also, solar and wind energy is just too weak and small compared to fossil fuel. It’s all unscientific, wishful thinking. By the way, I’m pro-Pebble too. For more on this, please: https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3890437 Thank You!

Two Mainstream Candidates: The Dumb and Dumber of Alaska

Greetings, Fellow Alaskans- My name is Huhnkie Lee and I’m running for 2022 US Senate as an independent Alaskan. When I announced my candidacy, some people said, “Is this a joke?” Well, my response would be this. How about our aging President Biden? How about Congresswomen Alexandria-Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan-Omar, Marjorie-Taylor-Greene? Don’t you think they’re worser jokes than my candidacy? Ok. Let’s talk about Alaskan incumbents. They say, the incumbent Senator Murkowski got all the powers and influences in DC. I say, what’s good is power, what’s use is power if the power is not used? She failed to institute ANWR Oil because she’s incompetent, though she’s incumbent. She refused to do Pebble Mine, because it’s politically inconvenient. I suspect she’s not about Alaska’s best interest, but she’s all about herself, her bestest self-interest. She enjoys the power and fame. She enjoys being such an important person, getting all the nation-wide spotlight. What a joke. How about her biggest challenger so far, the Republican Party’s favorite candidate, who just got Mr. Trump’s endorsement? I say she’s too new to politics. She may be cute, but she’s clueless. We appreciate her ambition to run for US Senate when it’s her first time to run for a public office. But, it’s too blatantly obvious that she doesn’t know what she’s talking about, that she has no idea what she’s doing. So she obeys and obeys the same Grand Old Party’s playbook, copy-and-paste like pro-gun, pro-Trump, anti-abortion and all. Again, what a joke. An incompetent incumbent and a clueless cuteness. I call them the dumb and dumber of Alaska. What a shame. It's as if, they're shameless. How about me? I’m not a Republican-In-Name-Only like the incumbent incompetent Senator. I’m not like the cute clueless childish obedient Republican Party’s favorite candidate who’s so happy about Mr. Trump’s endorsement, not realizing that Mr. Trump’s prestige and his name’s sake is sinking away, day by day. I am not one of those mainstream candidates who’s rationality is paralyzed by their avarice and greed for money, power, and fame. Ladies and gentlemen, I am an independent politician. People may laugh at me. When they do so, I’d be very happy. Why? It’s because I’m a performer, a stand-up comedian. When people laugh at me, I will be very satisfied, knowing that I did my job well as a jokester. I made a movie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltg6mfeG11s I’m also pro-Pebble. Mainstream and majoritarian candidates shy away from controversial topics because they are afraid. I’m not one of them. For more: https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3890437 Thank You very much!

A Bizarre Independent

Greetings, Fellow Alaskans- My name is Huhnkie Lee and I’m running for 2022 US Senate as an independent Alaskan. We got two bigly institutional candidates next year: the big incumbent Senator and her challenger, the Republican Party’s favorite, who is so happy and euphoric now for former President Trump’s endorsement. How about the rest of other candidates? I’m one. But there’re others. … Those two Caucasian married female candidates with huge and enormous establishment endorsements or gigantic national conservative party support, do you really wanna vote for them? Or, would you rather be true to your Alaskan blood and vote for someone more obscure and independent and stand-on-one’s-own-feet kinda candidate? Hey, I’m no racist or sexist. I just noticed, those two bigly mainstream, majoritarian senatorial candidates happen to be Caucasian married females. Just saying //xD … So. Most likely, you’ve never heard of me. Please kindly allow me to introduce myself then. I drink vodka, whiskey mostly, at home alone, at night, after the arduous weekday’s job is done. I smoke cigarettes too. And yes, I do regular exercise and healthy diet. I’m a single 43 Aging Asian American Alaskan male. Back in the days in California, like a decade and a half ago, I made a movie in Mojave desert alone: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltg6mfeG11s About a month ago, I wrote a 40-page paper, advocating for Pebble Mine: https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3890437 I’m for ANWR Oil too. I’m not one of those mainstream, majoritarian, scared politicians or candidates who are so obedient. Thank You, Alaskans!

Alaska, the Beautiful

Greetings, Fellow Alaskans- My name is Huhnkie Lee and I’m running for 2022 US Senate as an independent Alaskan. I’m not gonna lie to you like the two other mainstream candidates do all the time. I’m new in Alaska and I’m relatively new in politics too. But I’ve been studying Alaskan history and I was fascinated. Alaskan Natives came from Asia to Alaska like 25,000 years ago. I guess they wanted to get away from all that Asian stuffs and wanted to try something new in the New World. I can understand that. … How about other races? You may have been born and raised in Alaska all your respective lives, and unlike some others, you decided to stay. Kudos to you- How about others, the blacks, the whites, the browns, the yellows, who just came here? Why did they come to Alaska, of all places? … I can only speak for myself. I came here to get away from it all. Six years ago. The year 2015. And I’m still very deeply in love with Alaska. I’d never live anywhere else on earth. Yes, Alaska is special- … So those two big candidates: the incumbent and the ‘challenger’, the Republican Party’s favorite. You’re gonna vote for them? For what? Just cuz you’ve seen them on TV? Come, Alaskans. Let’s be true to good ole Alaskan values and be independent. Let’s do our own things. That’s Alaska. I love fishing and nature. But I’m pro-Pebble too: https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3890437 Thank You, Alaskans!

Pebble and ANWR, Help is on the Way

Greetings Fellow Alaskans- My name is Huhnkie Lee and I'm running for 2022 US Senate as an independent Alaskan. I'm for Pebble Mine and ANWR Oil. The reason is that I want to help poor people in Alaska. To help the poor, we need money. And we can't tax the rich and feed the poor in America, as America is not socialist country. Capitalism, or the right to private property, in embedded in 5th and 14th Amendments in US Constitution. Thus, making more money and then investing in social welfare program is the only way to help the poor. Who are the poor in Alaska? I'm talking about the criminals, the homeless, the drug addicts. The only way to eliminate crimes is to rehabilitate the criminals. We can't just execute all criminals with capital punishments because that violates 8th Amendment of Constitution. Educating and training those unfortunate outlaws is the only way to stop crimes and such programs need money. Pebble Mine and ANWR Oil can provide that money. Another reason why I advocate for Pebble/ANWR is to help law-abiding, hardworking Alaskans. Alaskans want to keep PFD and prevent state income tax. What we need to understand is that inflammation is a natural law that no one can prevent. $1 a hundred years ago is worth $15 today. As prices of goods increase, the cost of running governmental businesses will increase too. Government will need more money due to inflammation alone. If Alaska does not increase it's economic activity level, then Alaska will lose PFD, and Alaska will start the state-level income tax, and the income tax will increase annually. That's exactly what's gonna happen if Alaska doesn't develop Pebble/ANWR. If you'd like to read more, here is my 40-page paper: https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3890437 Thank you, Alaskans //:-)

Real Politik, Real Talk

Greetings, Fellow Alaskans- My name is Huhnkie Lee and I'm running for 2022 US Senate as an independent Alaskan. How about a confession session? We don't hear often from a politician fessing up his dirty deeds done dirt cheap these days, do we? Rest assured, I'm not that typical kinda phony same-rap politician. No Sir, no Ma'am. I'm a different kind. ... So. What do we have here? Well, I'll just tell ya. Real talk. Yes, I do drink every night, after long and hard work, Monday through Friday. Yes, I do drink in Saturday and Sunday mornings. But. I do drink at home alone. I never drink outside. Why? Cuz I got no cash to hire a taxicab. And I never drink and drive. Capische? ... I was born in america but I grew up in south korea. In asia, there is this awesome drinking culture. I learned how to drink properly from my father. That's how it has been for thousands of years in china, taiwan, koreas, and japan. Fathers teach their sons how to drink in moderation and how to behave well even when they're intoxicated. ... It's like proper gun education in america. Good parents teach their kids how to properly use guns. They teach them how to clean guns, and they teach kids to never point guns at people. South korea has no guns. So I never once touch a gun before I joined the u.s. army in basic combat training in fort benning GA, 2009. Our drill sergeants taught us well. Like good uncles. So we never once had an incident, though we carried fully loaded M-16 assault rifles around the gun ranges. They taught us well. ... The bottoms line, now. Fire can warm the house or it can burn the house down. A gun can murder a person, or save a person by killing a charging grizzly. A glass of vodka can kill a person, or heal and soothe a person by making him relaxed at night so he can forget about everything that happened during the day, and wake up tomorrow with fresh kind, some kinda brain reset. You understand what I'm sayin' right? Thank You!

Pebble, ANWR, and PFD

Hello, Fellow Alaskans- My name is Huhnkie Lee and I'm running for 2022 US Senate as an independent Alaskan- We got a great vision for Alaska and here we go. First, let us make money by going forward with 500 billion dollars from clean Pebble mine and another 500 billion dollars from clean ANWR oil. Second, with all that money, Alaskan state government will be rich, so Alaskan will preserve PFD and zero state income tax privilege, unlike other states. Third, with Pebble + ANWR = 1 trillion dollars money, Alaska can institute universal health care for all, in Alaska. How about that? ... We can make Alaskan Republicans happy because we are developing industry and creating jobs and not raising the tax or taking away pfd of taxing the rich. We can make Democrats happy because we are expending medicare and medicaid and helping out the poor people in Alaska. We can bring the Left and the Right together, today, finally. ... How can Pebble be clean? We investigated and uncovered how, and wrote them down, right here: https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3890437 ... We know A man and a woman are different It takes saintly patience For a husband and wife To get along Because they're so different But Once the two genders do overcome the difference They can come together And love And have a beautiful baby ... Likewise If Republicans and Democrats come together We can achieve a wonder- ... So let us come together And make some good happen. Shall we? Thank you //!-)

An Alaskan Story

Greetings, Fellow Alaskans- My name is Huhnkie Lee and I'm running for 2022 US Senate as an independent Alaskan. I first came to Alaska in 2015 without knowing anyone, without any job lined up. I was unemployed for three months. Because I was new to Alaska, I couldn't get unemployment insurance and my meager saving was running out. Finally I got a computer programmer job at $15 an hour, $30,000 a year, before tax. I was 36 years old then. I was so happy then to realize, "Tis time around, I am not a tourist but I am an Alaskan and I can live here, paying my bills!" So, why did I come to Alaska of all places, six years ago? People come to Alaska for all different reasons. Some come here out of ambition to make it big in politics and they're known as carpet-baggers. Some come here for job opportunities to make a big career move, to be a big fish in a small pond. There is nothing wrong in those elitist goals. But those tend to leave Alaska and go back to where they came from once they achieve those political or career goals. Some others come to live in Alaska because they watched Alaskan TV shows or documentaries and got intrigued by Alaska's pristine nature. Some others come to Alaska to get away from it all and to be the last American standing, to pursue Ideological freedom and to seek all-American freedom. Still others come to Alaska out of sheer adventurism. I belong to this group of people. Some of us came to Alaska because we thought and still think it's the best state in America. I'm doing politics now but that's not why I came here. I got involved in local politics back in 2018, in order to protest the plastic bag ban in Wasilla. So why am I running? I want to help Alaskans to build Pebble Mine and ANWR oil. Here is my 40-page paper about it: https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3890437 Thank You for the consideration, kind Alaskans and God bless You!

A Mini Bio

Greetings, Fellow Alaskans- My name is Huhnkie Lee and I'm running for 2022 US Senate as an independent Alaskan. Perhaps a bit about me. I was born in Ithaca NY, in 1978 when my Dad came to Cornell for his PhD study in economics with my Mom. We all moved back to Seoul, S. Korea and I grew up there until 1997 when I graduated a high school. I moved back to America in Madison WI to major in computer science. I went to Cornell to study for computational biology PhD and dropped out after two years. I moved to Los Angeles CA and got a computer programmer job. In my spare time, I did some acting and made a one-man feature-length movie, which is available for free at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltg6mfeG11s Then in 2009, I joined the US Army as a junior enlisted soldier, E-4 specialist as a helicopter electrician. We deployed to Afghanistan for a year in 2011 and I was honorably discharged in 2013. I went to Michigan Law School and graduated in 2015 and then moved to Alaska the same year. I came to Alaska as I was fascinated by Alaskan TV shows like Yukon Man, Alaska the Last Frontier, or documentaries like Grizzlies of Alaska or Braving Alaska on Mr. Heimo Korth, which I watched when I was in Michigan. As a politician, I support Pebble Mine and ANWR Oil. I wrote a 40-page paper about it, available at: https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3890437 Thank You!

A Scientist, a Philosopher, and a Politician

Greetings, Fellow Alaskans- My name is Huhnkie Lee and I'm running for 2022 US Senate as an independent Alaskan. As an amateur scientist, I like experimenting. My campaign is a highly experimental one. It's a zero-penny campaign, as I don't take any donations. As an amateur philosopher, I believe in ideals. I believe that American democracy should not be run by money, but by the People and by good ideas. My campaign is also a one-man campaign, as I'm doing all this all by myself, and I want to keep it that way, which is kinda Alaskan. I want to keep my political endeavor independent and free and efficient. So, other than campaign methodologies and approaches, what else is new in this all-Alaskan, all-American adventure in democratic election campaign that I'm experimenting with? Well, how about pro-Pebble-ism? That's a very hot button topic and I love controversies. I'm sorry if I disappoint anyone at this point, but I'm pro-Pebble. Here is a 40-page paper I wrote about it, if interested: https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3890437 The thing is, I can live without getting elected, but I can't live without freedom of speech. If the exercise of free speech prevents me from getting elected, I can live with that. What I can't live with is, a life of a politician where I am forced to say what people want me to say. Again, I'm an idealist. Hypothetically, if I become a US Senator, I will be sworn in to protect and preserve the Constitution of the U.S. and of Alaska. If the first thing I do as a Senator is to sacrifice my constitutional right to free speech, I won't be keeping my oath. So, that's my attitude as a politician. Thank You for consideration, kind Alaskans and God bless You All!
