US Senate 2022 Candidacy as Independent Alaskan, Declaration in 250 Words

Greetings Ma’ams/Sirs, This is Huhnkie Lee, running for 2022 US Senate for Alaska as an independent, non-elitist Alaskan. Elitists have roles in our society and by elitists, we mean 1% of Americans who went to top schools and got 6-digit-figure salaries with prominent positions in highly visible governmental agencies or gigantic corporations, who work 80+ hours per week. They do serve good functions as officers in courts, academia, governmental agencies, or private corporations. Yes, we need them. But, when it comes to elected officials, as representatives of the people, I do not think such high-powered elitists, though impressive, would be ideal to represent the rest of us, the 99% of the people, the unsung heroes. When it comes to me, I’m a personal injury lawyer in Alaska, a US Army veteran (E4-Specialist), an amateur mathematician, who likes to run outside and go to gyms. I’ve been to some top schools in my life, including 3-weeks-in-hell US Army Special Forces training, but I ended up dropping out from most of them. Why? I’m really laid-back kinda person, who’s in a more creative side of things. I spend a lot of time alone, thinking about problems in the world. Then I come up with creative solutions. In my spare time, I do web-surfing to learn about history, literature, science, nature of the world. Alaska represents independent spirits. People came to Alaska to get away from it all. I believe I can represent Alaskans as a common man, as an independent thinker. Thanks!
