a story from military experience

i'm a late bloomer i joined the u.s. army when i was 31 ... in fort benning georgia basic combat training i was surrounded by teenager boys, all american ... some, actually, most of my drill sergeants were younger than me ... i deployed to afghanistan for a year i was lucky that i was not killed and i didn't kill anyone ... i may have killed a couple of mosquitoes or cockroaches but that was that i lucked out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NbZd8GRirPk
